How it works
From soil reading to drip — without the watering can.
Place a sensor near your plants. The hub listens, then waters only what needs it.

Sense
Battery-powered soil sensors measure the soil throughout the day and send readings to the hub. Built-in solar panels extend battery life; when the battery runs low, recharge over USB-C.

Decide
The hub compares each reading with the soil moisture you set for that plant. If moisture is too low, it starts watering the plant that needs it.

Water
Small drip tubes run from the hub to your plants. The hub pumps water to the plant in need. When the reservoir is empty, the app tells you it is time to refill.

Robotany is a small, connected watering system tailored to a garden layout. Hide the hub behind a bench or beside a plot, then let sensors and tubes do the rest — automatically, or from the app.
Compact hub
The base holds a reservoir of water, runs the system software, and pumps water through the tubes. Fill it with water — and plant nutrition if you like.
Soil sensors
Sensors sit near your plants, run on battery, harvest energy from solar panels, and recharge over USB-C when needed.
Drip tubes
Run several small water tubes from the hub to different plants so each one can be watered on its own.
Power and Wi-Fi
Use it indoors or outdoors, as long as it stays in range of a power source and a Wi-Fi signal.

Configure, watch, and water from your devices.
The Robotany app is available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Use it to match the system to your garden and keep an eye on water, sensors, and history.
- Set up your garden layout and the optimal soil moisture for each plant.
- See how much water is left in the hub so you know when to refill.
- Water a plant by hand from the app when you want to give it extra — while your device is on the same network as the system.
- Review how the system has performed: detailed sensor readings and charts of how much has been watered.
